Linda White, a member of the EHS class of 1971, carries a box of toys to the box truck that will take toys to the Salvation Army, on Saturday morning, December 7 at The Chronicle-Telegram. The Elyria High School graduating class of 1971 came to The Chronicle-Telegram offices on Saturday morning to donate toys in memory of Cooper Hudnutt, the late publisher of The Chronicle, who died in 2010. Since his passing, his classmates collect toys and money for the cause — with some mailing in their donations from across the country. Over 1,273 toys were collect. -2020
