Lorain County Printing and Publishing Company is looking for a Full Time Customer Service Representative.

Ideal candidates would possess a customer service background (preferably 3 – 4 years experience) within a Customer Service Department or Call Center and some Sales experience.
Candidates must exhibit solid communication skills, accurate data entry, must be able to learn other industry specific computer programs and handle multiple phone lines. Additionally, candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, be able to problem solve and must work rotating weekend and holidays.

DEPARTMENT : Customer Service
REPORTS TO : Customer Service Manager
Position Summary : Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Lorain County Printing and Publishing Company customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as team members with the Customer Service Department.
Role Priorities :
Role Qualifications :
Must partner with the Sales team to provide customers with service as outlined in the departments polices and procedure.
Must address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
Essential Functions :
Complaint dispatching (shortages)
Assist in writing ads for both newspapers: type, create and up-sell
Process sales orders and maintain current customer data
Cold-Calling potential and past customers to support special pages
Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
Process customer orders/changes according to established department polices and procedures.
Process customer credits according to established department polices and procedures.
Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
Partner with sales reps to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Travel to Medina Gazette on a rotating basis as needed
Essential skills and Experience :
Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service role
Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Able to work with a wide variety of people in a positive and productive manner
Strong customer orientation. Must possess the ability to handle difficult or irate customers
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in shifts
